I know this information is a bit late but i still want to share this to all of you especially to Gundam fanatics like me

As part of the 30th Anniversary of the Gundam series, the company officially announced a project on March 11, 2009 called Real-G to build a 1:1 real-size, scaled Gundam statue in Japan.The project was finished in early June 2009 and opened to the public on July 11 2009 It is located in Shiokaze Park on Odaiba island in Tokyo, Japan.

This real size Gundam is called the RX-78 Gundam serves as the iconic symbol of the Gundam franchise and sparked the creation of its multiple sequels and spinoffs.

The pilot of this gundam is amuro ray actually i haven't watched this Gundam series since its very very old ^w^ this life size Gundam the RX-78 Gundam is the prototype or the mother of all Gundams no matter what timeline it belongs..the pilot amuro ray is also the original creator of lacus clyne and lockon stratos's haro's amuro made haro to assist him during combat..

The RX-78 life size Gundam was dismantled in early September 2009

too bad i wish they didn't dismantled it T^T but imagine if japan can make a real life scale model of a Gundam they can also make a real Gundam to be used as Military weapon or to be used for outerspace reaserch..
